My real name is Destiny Mangini, and I am a poet and book writer. I've been writing since I was about ten, and (I hope) my work has gotten a lot better over the years. I also love music! :) I like pretty much anything. I listen to Lady Gaga, Josh Groban, and Carrie Underwood. I also listen to the compositions by Jon Schmidt. Speaking of piano, I play it a little. I'm taking piano at school, and I love it!
When I was in eighth grade, my social studies teacher fell in love with my poems, and she insisted that I enter poetry contests. I agreed and entered the 2011 Student Poetry Contest hosted by The America Library of Poetry, and in late June/early July, I got a letter saying they wanted to publish the poem in a compilation of the best poems they'd read. By October, it should be published. That is one of my greatest accomplishments.
I'm trying to write a book before the summer ends, but I haven't even gotten a chapter done. I'm working on three different stories right now. I should stop that. I don't think I'll get it done, but I want to finish before November, so I can write the sequel during NaNoWriMo.
I'm also a MMORPG addict. I play World of Warcraft and Aika Online, but I've played other stuff in the past. I try to keep a life, and it's still alive. So, don't tell me to get a life or say that I don't have one. 'Cause, I sure do!
